Tudor Black Bay GMT Heritage Stainless Steel 79830RB

Tudor Black Bay GMT Heritage 79830RB

Tudor first started crafting luxury watches in 1926 based in Geneve, Switzerland. The brand was first registered as a sister company of Rolex, and has remained so ever since. Tudor had developed a reputation as a handyman watch, and thanks to that, several navies issued Tudor Submariners to their divers. Notably, these navies included the US Navy Seals.

The Black Bay draws on multiple facets of Tudor’s heritage to create another extroadinary time-piece. The domed Dial and Crystal derive from Tudors’ first diving watches from the late 50’s. The hands on the watch, dubbed ‘Snowflakes’ thanks to their unique shaping, taken from their watch line dedicated to the French Navy in the 1970’s. In 2015, Tudor announced their first manufacture Calibre. It offers a 70 hour power reserve. This means you could essentially go a long weekend without wearing or winding the watch, and still come back to it ticking along, on the correct time.

Our Pre-Owned Tudor Black Bay GMT Heritage dates from the 19th November 2018. The timepiece is in an overall excellent condition with some minor marks to the case and bracelet. The model number is 79830RB, meaning it has a  ‘Pepsi’ Bezel, with white luminous dots. The 41mm case is home to an automatic movement with GMT and date functions, which is still covered under Tudor warranty and is in full working order. The watch comes with the original Tudor box, warranty card and instructions.
