Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please note that these terms also apply to transactions and contracts that you may make using remote communication technology.

Any new features or tools that are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Due to the nature of the repair process and the unknown quality of materials used in your original item of watch bracelet or case, we cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage that occurs during our repair process that is beyond our control and you agree that in requesting us to carry out work on your behalf you do so at your own risk.

We obviously carry out work employing the best possible care and utilise best practices and any liability is limited to an error or omission on our part only not due to a faulty or a poor quality item.

Fixalink reserves the right to keep or dispose of parts or components (including glass and watch straps) which we have replaced – unless the customer has requested otherwise and explicitly agreed prior to proceeding.

By sending a watch to Fixalink, you accept that we reserve the right to dismantle the watch, in order to carry out a sufficient inspection of the timepiece.

Our diagnostics and production of estimates are free of charge, unless specifically stated otherwise. If there is a charge for an estimate, we will advise the customer and receive confirmation whether to proceed with the production of an estimate, prior to carrying out diagnostics of the watch.

Any discrepancies or faults (including aesthetic) following a service, repair or refurbishment must be brought to our attention via email or recorded delivery mail within 7 days of the return of your watch (signed for).

Should this fall under our warranty conditions, Fixalink will make every attempt to rectify said issue.

Fixalink will not be liable for postage costs if an issue is raised following this 7 day period, however any warranty will still be valid.

Fixalink have the final decision with any warranty claim. In order to determine a claim in the event of a dispute, Fixalink reserve the right to instruct an independent, third party (not employed by Fixalink) in order to confirm said warranty claim.

If at any point during a warranty, your watch and/or bracelet is opened, inspected or adjusted by a third party watchmaker/ company, your warranty will become invalid with immediate effect.

In the event that you take your watch to a third party for inspection or intervention, Fixalink will not be held liable, in any way, for any costs incurred.

We reserve the right to extend the turnaround time of your watch service, due to the nature of the service such as ordering of parts and testing periods. Should we extend the duration of your watch service this will not impact the cost previously agreed for the service.

Fixalink refuses to carry out any work to replica watches. If a replica watch is received using our pre paid postage pack, an administration fee of £35 (excluding VAT) will be chargeable, in addition to a return shipping fee of £12.00 (excluding VAT).

Post and Delivery.

Fixalink will not insure or take responsibility for any package sent to us for repair which is not using our own pre-paid packaging. If you choose to send your watch to us without using our pre-paid delivery services, we recommend you use Royal Mail Special Delivery – signed for and guaranteed by 1pm.

Our insurance policy covers watches up to and including £20,000.00 and applies to packages we send to UK and Overseas addresses.

WE WILL ACCEPT OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS AND YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING AND INSURANCE TO US. WE WILL SHIP BACK BY FEDEX AT OUR COST. THE INSURANCE FOR PARCEL WILL BE OUR RESPONSIBILITY UP TO £20,000.00.

All parcels are given their own unique tracking number to allow us to monitor its progress. Packages are dispatched within 48 hours of cleared funds being received. All parcels must be signed for by an adult; defined as, over 18 years old at the delivery address. When you receive your watch back from Fixalink, you must refuse delivery and not sign for if it shows any signs of being tampered with/ attempted opening. Liability for loss theft or damage passes from Fixalink to the customer once the item has been signed for.

If you choose not to proceed with the service quoted, your watch will be returned to you in the same condition and method of delivery that it was received at no expense.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address.
Fixalink will in no way be held responsible for any mistakes or incorrect deliveries resulting from this.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

All of the watches on sale are authenticated by our experts. All movements are checked and where there is a serial number, this too will be checked for authenticity and verified by the Art Loss Register. All our watches carry the free Fixalink 12 months warranty.

All pre-owned watches sold by Fixalink are not guaranteed water resistant unless the timepiece in question is still covered by the manufacturers warranty.

We are not authorised dealers for the resale of any of the pre-owned watches for any of the manufacturers we feature on our website.

Customers can inspect and collect the watch of their choice from our premises in Hatton Garden, London by appointment. We would ask customers to make an appointment at least one day prior to the day they wish to visit. Some watches are sold on behalf of third parties and therefore may not be on the premises. It is therefore essential that you contact us prior to visiting our premises.

Payment.

We have linked Stripe as our secure payment system. It is used by many financial institutions to ensure safety. Stripe has been audited by a PCI compliant auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this Stripe uses the best in class security tools and practices to maintain high levels. We encourage you to use this system as it ensures that all your personal data is held by the card issuers and banks. It also ensures that Fixalink does not have access to the data submitted when you make your purchase. We also use Stripe because it uses the 3D secure2 system which supports the latest authentication protocol. This effectively is the equivalent of card chip and pin, the pin being a security password that you set between you and your card issuer. It adds an extra level of security for you and ensures that Fixalink is not subject to fraudulent use of cards. Where a card holder does not have 3D security on the card shipping may be delayed by up to 2 working days until the payment is cleared by your payment provider. We do not surcharge for the use of credit or debit cards. Where payment is made by cheque we must have cleared funds in our account before the goods are dispatched. If a bankers draft has been provided goods will not be dispatched until the draft has been appropriately authenticated.

Returns.

If you decide that you want to return an item that you bought from stock, you will be refunded on the condition that you do so within 14 days of receiving. A full refund will be made on the condition that the item has not been damaged and that all the original associated items that were sold and or delivered to you are returned in the same condition that they were supplied in. Customers are liable for the cost of returned goods unless agreed otherwise in writing or email with Fixalink. Please note that clients based outside of the UK who are returning their item will need to bear the costs of shipping and insurance.

If the purchased item has been in any way tampered with or altered by the customer, another jeweller, watchmaker or any other third party the warranty and the return policy will cease to apply and the item/s will become non-refundable and non-returnable.

Please note the following returns terms and conditions as we cannot accept returns if

  • Any tags have been removed from the item.
  • Items have been altered or tampered with by you or any third parties.
  • Items have been; in our opinion, worn or show signs of wear and tear.
  • Proof of purchase and all or any packaging is missing.
  • You have collected the goods which you viewed online from our showroom.
  • You viewed the goods in our showroom and subsequently purchased.

In the unlikely event that delivered goods turn out to be faulty or damaged; after and if all return terms and conditions have been adhered to, we will refund the item in full. All returns are subject to ANTI FRAUD VERIFICATION and AUTHENTICATION by us. Goods returned in accordance with our terms and conditions will be refunded within 7 working days. The refund could take from 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. If you have not seen the original charge being reversed or refunded after 10 days we recommend contacting your bank directly to ensure that this is resolved. We will not refund in cash but will the method of pay method that you have nominated when making the purchase.

Prices of the services and products offered by Fixalink are liable to change at any time without notice. We also reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of the service) without notice. The price shown in the shopping cart is the price you pay at the time of purchase, subject to any adjustment for shipping. For customers outside of the EU it is your responsibility to take whatever steps you believe appropriate to facilitate the import of your watch, bracelet or goods.

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

At any time prior to dispatch confirmation Fixalink may at its sole discretion for reasons of availability or otherwise terminate its agreement with you in respect of any Goods, Services and purchases in such case it will in full and final settlement of any claims you might have return any monies received from you within 14 days of receipt of such monies back to the original payment account.

Payment is to be received prior to handing/ dispatching the watch back to the customer for any work carried out by Fixalink. The watch will remain in the property of Fixalink until full payment is received.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services, or when you cease using our site.

If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.

You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

In all cases, without exception, liability/indemnity and all claims for damage or loss however caused are limited to the cost of the watch or bracelet itself.

In no case shall Fixalink; our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Fixalink, our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

GUARANTEE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Watch Bracelet valid for 5 years.

For use of our offers and warranties the Warranty card must be completed , signed and dated.

Warranties and guarantees only apply to the works carried out by us which are listed on the final invoice raised by us; Fixalink to you; the named on the invoice

The Warranty/Guarantee is voided if any other persons attempt to work on the watch or repair any claimed defect.

Annual free assessment, steam clean and light polish.

The Warranty covers defects arising from work undertaken by us/the workshops relevant to the service/repair/refurbishment authorised by you.

The Warranty does not include accidental damage, neglect or miss/ excessive use. It does not cover watch glasses or damage caused by normal wear ie scratches and dents.

Any discrepancies or faults; including aesthetic, following any of our services must be reported to us by telephone, email or post within 7 days of the return of your watch.

Fixalink will not be liable for postage charges.

Watch Movements valid for 2 years.

For use the warranty card must be completed , signed and dated.

Warranties and guarantees only apply to the works carried out by us which are listed on the final invoice raised by us; Fixalink to you; the named on the invoice.

The Warranty/Guarantee is voided if any other persons attempt to work on the watch or repair any claimed defect.

The Warranty covers defects arising from work undertaken by us/the workshops relevant to the service/repair/refurbishment authorised by you.

The Warranty does not cover watch glasses or include accidental damage, neglect or miss/ excessive use or damage caused by normal wear.

This warranty does not cover water damage.

Any discrepancies or faults; including aesthetic, following any of our services must be reported to us by telephone, email or post within 7 days of the return of your watch.

Fixalink will not be liable for postage charges.
